Is being gay or homosexual a sin? Or is it bad? Or does it destroys the balance of the sexes?

I am really quite curious and I see that this is a phenomena that has been happening for a very long time, others see it as a disease, others as a curse, while some say that it is cause by an abnormal environment or surrounding and some saying that it may come as natural as it has been embedded in our genes. Which is true? What should be done? Do we need to stop and/or eliminate it? Or to simply control and/ or tolerate it...Comments, Suggestions, and other insights are greatly regarded...So as we learn, we understand ourselves...

"abnormal environment " :P agreez hehe, well comment to this can be argued against easily but hmmm, i think no one is born gay, it's the surroundings around the person that makes them like they r, cause it doesn't really make sense, it doesn't seem natural. Oh well, who cares if its a sin or bad haha :D

You posed a lot of questions there my friend...It's unfortunate that in this time and age and as long as homosexuality and bisexuality have been around those questions are still being asked. It's also unfortunate that so many people say things before using all of their god-given or otherwise bestowed faculties to reach reasonable, rational, and logical conclusions. For example, I've heard the abnormal argument before but considering that gays come from all corners of the world, we are then forced to say that all environments are abnormal which would thereby make the abnormal, normal :)

The fact that some people say it is a disease is absolutely absurd and I don't think that point even needs to be argued against. It is very possible that our preference for one sex or the other is embedded in DNA. And why not? Without getting too scientific or philiosphoical, I think it's safe to say that our genes directly or indirectly affect everything! about us. We're still unlovking the secrets of our DNA so until we've done so completely how could we no include something like sexual preference!

When it comes to question of homosexuality being natural, sometimes I can't help but think nature intended it be in order to act as a kind of population control mechanism. Hey, why not?

My mind is racing with thoughts but I'll have to cut this short. The last thing I'll say for now is that the things we do in this world, as long as they don't cause harm to others, to the environment, or to one's own self, then by all means indulge..So far, no one has offered any empirical evidence that homosexuality does that. . .

Well, if you don't have a belief in God, then no - there is no sin (which is probably why people don't want to believe in God btw). This is what I think right now, that I know for certain that promiscuity no matter your gender preference is always a sin. Intimacy, even by other standards, should always be kept pure and inside of a relationship - so far as marriage because really anything less than that really isn't totally committed, right? BEING homosexual is not a sin for certain because who can control that? I'd much rather CHOOSE to be strait and forget all this drama, ya? Sin starts in your heart, I think that's the bottom line. We can talk more later :)

I am very much not religious. I have strong beliefs that rub people of faith the wrong way, but I have an article that looks at homosexuality and religion very closely. hmmm, to me, gays and straight r the same, gay are still a people, at least we dont get birth as other kind of animal, we can think of what is right, and what is wrong, and we could do many amazing things, and some gays are even much much better than straight, i think being gay is not a curse or any disease that make u feel bad about urself, being gay is the same as being straight, but i still concern about some stupid idiot that dont know what we r thinking, they just think that we are their aliens, they r fucking idiot i would say. but other than that, being gay is still the same as normal as long as we have good attitute. I love myself,, gay that is what i was borned with, so i have to love being gay as well.
